FAQs
Do you accept international patients? Yes. We welcome patients from abroad and provide remote pre‑assessment, video consultations, on‑site CBCT scans and coordinated treatment plans to make visits efficient and productive.
How do remote consultations work? After you contact us we review your medical/dental history and any photos or x‑rays you can send. We then schedule a secure video consultation to discuss options, provide an estimated cost range and propose a travel schedule. A final plan is made on‑site after a CBCT and clinical exam.
How long will I need to stay in Bulgaria? Length of stay depends on the treatment. Simple single‑implant cases typically require one or two short visits. All‑on‑X and full‑mouth rehabilitations often need 1–2 visits spaced over several months (surgery/provisional and final restoration). We provide a personalized schedule during your consult.
Do you help with travel and accommodation? Yes. We assist with appointment timing, local hotel recommendations and efficient scheduling to minimize time away from home. We can also advise on airport transfers and local logistics.
Are prices really lower for the same quality? Yes — Bulgaria offers lower overheads while many clinics maintain European clinical standards and use premium materials. We use certified implants, high‑quality prosthetic components and follow strict sterilization and quality protocols so you receive world‑class care at a better value.
What languages do you speak? Our team speaks English and Italian; we can also arrange translation support as needed to ensure clear communication before, during and after treatment.
What warranty or guarantee do you offer on implants and prostheses? We provide guarantees under specific conditions. Implant components and prosthetic work have warranties that require: a complete documented treatment plan, follow‑up visits according to our schedule, compliance with oral hygiene and maintenance instructions, and not altering the prosthesis without our approval. Warranties do not cover failures due to uncontrolled medical conditions (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes), tobacco use, trauma, neglect, or treatments performed elsewhere without our involvement. Exact warranty terms are provided in writing before treatment.
Can I claim a guarantee if I return home? Possibly, but guarantees are conditional. If follow‑up or corrective care is needed, we typically require an on‑site evaluation at our clinic to confirm the issue and cause. For minor adjustments or maintenance, we may coordinate with a local dentist, but major corrective procedures usually need to be performed here to maintain the warranty. Travel costs for return visits are the patient’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
What happens if I have a complication after I return home? Contact us immediately. We will advise remotely and schedule an on‑site assessment if needed. For urgent issues we can guide your local dentist for temporary stabilization; definitive corrective treatment is assessed case‑by‑case and may require a return visit.
Are follow‑up visits mandatory? Yes. Follow‑up visits at the intervals we specify are mandatory to keep warranties valid and to ensure long‑term success. Typical follow‑up includes clinical exams, hygiene visits and occasional radiographs.
Do you offer sedation or general anesthesia for international patients? Yes. We offer local anesthesia and conscious sedation; general anesthesia is available for selected cases when clinically indicated. Sedation options and requirements are reviewed during the consultation and require medical clearance.
What payment methods do you accept and when is payment due? We accept bank transfers and major credit cards. A deposit is required to secure surgery dates; final payment is due before prosthesis delivery. Specific terms and a written cost estimate are provided during planning.
Can you provide before-and-after cases or references from international patients? Yes. We can share anonymized case photos and patient testimonials. With patient permission we also provide references from international patients who underwent similar treatments.
How do you ensure infection control and clinical safety? Our clinic follows strict sterilization protocols, uses single‑use disposables when appropriate, and adheres to European standards for surgical environments. We use certified implants and traceable materials, and all clinicians are licensed and regularly trained.
I’m worried about follow‑up care back home. What do you recommend? We provide a written treatment report, post‑op instructions and can communicate directly with your local dentist to coordinate maintenance. For complex cases we recommend periodic on‑site checkups at our clinic; for routine hygiene and exam we will outline what your local dentist can safely perform.
If you have specific concerns or need a written guarantee before booking, contact us for a personalized pre‑treatment agreement. Book a video consult with Dental Center Dr. Momani and we’ll prepare a clear plan, cost estimate and warranty terms tailored to your case.
